The Pantry Restaurant - Our Story
About Us
The Pantry was established in November of 1982
on S. Tennessee Street in historic downtown
McKinney and moved to the present location in
the old “Hope Hardware” building on East
Louisiana Street in 1991.

The Pantry’s fresh homemade food, daily
specials, and homemade pies and cakes attract
large crowds for lunch every day.

Each year from Thanksgiving through
Christmas, the Pantry bakes several thousand
homemade pies,  the bulk of them on “Pie
days” the day before Thanksgiving and
Christmas Eve Day. “Pie day” has become a
social event in McKinney, and you never know
who you’ll run into that day at The Pantry.

Come have lunch with us and spend the day
shopping and browsing in downtown McKinney.
Come back again. You’re always welcome.
